The NFL fined Minnesota wide receiver Randy Moss $10,000 for pretending to moon the Green Bay crowd. A couple of reporters asked Randy how he felt about the fine.

I personally think that the fine was rediculous... who gives a shit if a player pretends to moon the fans? Its well known that Green Bay fans are very annoying to away teams.... and i think someone said they actually moon players very often. Now if he actually mooned the fans... then it would be a different story.

He's a player, they're the fans and yes, there is a double standard. He and Owens should learn to act like they've been there before. I think it's pretty classy when a TE who doesn't score much gets a TD, hands the ball off, and goes back to the bench. Sure he's excited but it's his job and that's what he's doing.
He and Owens should learn to act like they've been there before.
Why? Who gives a shit... I personally like to see players with emotions, and it makes me laugh, as im sure it made the fans laugh as well. Im pretty sure none of the fans were mentally distraught after seeing someone PRETEND to moon them. Its called humor, people need to lightedn up and have some :cake:

I don't think they should be robots when they score a touchdown, and do nothing except walk to the bench. I like to watch a little celebration.
That would proably make me laugh too. Maybe he just ate some :cake: and felt all gitty or something...

I really don't care that Moss was fined for this little incident. I mean, I wasn't upset by his antics, I just hate him. Someday someone will bring his over-inflated ego into check.
He and T.O. can take the same boat to "Perfectland" as far as I'm concerned, good riddance.

I dont like moss. I like TO. I know you could make a point that im insane because they are very similar, but TO seems simply more into the game and just seems like a guy who is a complete ass. Sure he does his celebrations. Sure he makes itiot comments, but he apologizes for them too. I just think TO is a good guy at heart and he means well. Moss seems like a craptastic football player who doesnt care about the game.

What? That doesn't make sense. Either ass or good guy, not both. As far as being a good football player, TO is way selfish (more than Moss even) and will be bitchy if his team wins but without him scoreing any. That's not team play.
As far as showboating, I think emotion is great in the game. But I want to see emotion such as teamates getting together and going crazy, not the individual attention getter. Have you ever seen soccer players, they go crazy as a group. And when teamates smake a reciever on the helmet and have a good laugh, that's just awesome.

Either ass or good guy, not both. I said you could make a point that he was the same. But i think he is a good guy, i was clear about it, read better ass.

I may be hated after this posting, but I am a Packer fan.
I don't think what Moss did was funny at all, but that is just because I can't stand Randy Moss! If it was anyone else I probrably would have laughed. This guy is ignorant, selfish, and he could care less about the rest of his team or the game of football in general. He showed everyone that when he walked off the field a week before the Packer/Viking game with two minutes left of playing time to go pout in the locker room.

It's not that Moss doesn't have talent. He does and then some. It's just that he's a selfish little bitch.

What do you mean, itsn't that showing team spirit? lol
I dislike him too. I'm a 9ers fan (long season) and when we had Owens, it was a mix blessing. He was talented, but after Rice left and he was top dog, he was so full of himself. And not trying to pull a conspiracy theory, but he kinda single handedly dismantled the program there. He defied the coaches, insulted the quarterback, and somehow convinced the owner and GM of his views. And when free agency came, he split. Now Mariuchi has a new job, Garcia is gone, there's no team allegiance or loyalty, and we're pretty much this year's Bengals (they used to be piss poor and laughing stock a couple years back).
