I was just watching the local news and they were showing this big ass black dude that they had all shackled up and something covering his mouth for some reason. I only caught the tail end of it and I heard:
"He was arrested for holding up a church at gunpoint."
Hmm... that's odd. Why would he pick a church? Maybe because they have laws that prevent people from defending themselves in churches? But then again, there's a law that says "no guns allowed" there. How did that bad guy do it! I'm so confused! I thought the law was there to stop bad guys!

Dude, there have been several churches robbed in my area. It is actually prob as perfect a setup for idiot criminals as there could be. A lot of people, mostly defenseless (i.e old, children, women) all of which are asked to bring alms to the lord every Sunday. Of course, being Catholic, most churches in my faith are near or on the same grounds as schools. You know schools for children age 5-18. You know places where guns are not allowed. Places where it is illegal for someone to have a gun. As usual, that stops a lot of people.
On a related note, the Democratic mayor of the most Democratic city in Ohio, Cleveland, wants to pass a law banning anyone in Ohio under the age of 21 from being able to posess a gun. He says that from 2004 to 2006, 70% of people arrested for crimes involving firearms were under the age of 28. What?!?!?! First of all, I am real sure that all of those people involved in those crimes posessed their gun legally. Riiiiiight. Secondly, if 3/4 of crimes were committed by people younger than 1 age, why make guns illegal for people 7 years younger than that? What about those between 22 and 28? If you are going to be a fascist, why be half-ass? Why go halfway?

Speaking of schools...
This teacher recently started to bitch about not being able to defend herself at her school with a firearm. They of course called her crazy for wanting to do so. I mean come on, they have a shiny sign that clearly says: "NO GUNS ALLOWED."

I think that if you are one of these left wing anti-gun people, you should be forced to put a sign in your front yard that says: "NO GUNS ARE ALLOWED IN THIS HOUSE."

That would be great!! It would basically be an invitation for every lowlife in the area to have their way with that house. It may as well say, "HEY COME ROB ME, I'M DEFENSELESS!"
