So you know the craze about poker and all, well I have been a part of it for about a year and a half now. I do the online poker thing, alot, as I am sure Boy can tell you.

I have mostly been a break even player, but I clicked about a week and a half ago. I deposited $50 and have turned it into a sweet little roll the size of $620. I have played ALOT of poker to get to this point. Anyhoo, this is a picture of my account (I have already withdrawn $100 so that I will at least be up $50 no matter what happens).

Anyhoo, anyone have a questions about poker cuz I love to talk about it. This may not be considered a sport to most (its not its a game) but it is on ESPN so i put it under this.

Apparently the file size to attach something is incredibly small, sorry but cant attach.

Its a bitmap and i changed it to jpeg but still wont let me do it...it has to be smaller than 244 kb and id have to shrink it stupidly small.

I play on Party Poker, I find the most easy money there.

Just noticed this thread today, decided I'd post the outcomings of a garage poker tournament I went to this weekend.

Came in 2nd and won $65! Booyah! What's great is I didn't really have that many big hands, I would either scare others out of a hand by betting really high in the last round, or I'd win with something small like 3 of a kind. Best hand I had was a flush.

Garage poker is fun, but sometimes people get way to serious. which ruins it, for me at least. :(

Dude, I let you win, because I don't try anymore to be serious and bet right. I just want to win some and trash talk. :D

So lightfungus hows your game been lately? Have you lost all your money and resorted to loan sharks to play and hand jobs to pay the loan sharks yet?

Good luck man!!

Can you ever take your money out or is it just stuck there until you lose or close the account? I have had issues in past years with online bookmakers. Hit a 4 team parlay and win yourself a couple grand and want to take some money out of your account and you can't. You either have to close your account or leave it there to lose it all. It isn't like playing poker in a casino where you can cash out at any time. Or in my case, betting with a human bookie where payday is Tuesday and collection day is Wednesday.

I am free to cash out whenevver.

But do you have to completely cash out? i.e. close or empty your account? What if you hit for $50,000 and only want to take $10,000 out so you can enter some crazy live tournament? Can you just take part of your winnings out? Do you have other options besides emptying the account or leaving it all in there? That is all I am asking. But it really isn't that important. It just became a pain for me to have to close out my account every time I hit something big and then reopen it the next time I wanted to bet. From what it sounds like, it is hard to hit real big in poker too often though. At least from what my friends tell me. Picking the games is a much easier way if you ask me. Pick 5 games in a row and for $100 you can make between $5,000 and $8,000. Go 6 or 7 on 1 bet and you can be looking at pretty huge money. Don't feel 5 games, pick 4 and end up with somewhere around $1,000 to $2,500. All you have to do is find a handful of games you like.

Alright, I have ventured off topic here.

Do you play fantasy poker?? On ESPN, there is a fantasy poker game where you pick a team of actual poker players with a salary cap and everything and you get points based on their performance. Since you are the resident fantasy commish, thought you may need to know this as it could combine both interests.

No, there really aren't any restrictions on cashing out except that you can't cashout within like 24 hours of cashing in. I just cashed out $87.87 to pay for the bluetooth earpiece I got for my razor and to buy a case thingy for it. That sports betting sounds appealing. You make it sound simple...so you say you pick a collection of like 5 games and choose the winners and if you get all of them right you turn 100 into like 2500?

Thanks for the fantasy poker, but it sounds too much like fantasy racing or something. I think I'll just stick with the real thing. But I will definately update you guys on how this weekend goes if I decide to play in it and not cashout my winnings.

Yea, I'm not man enough to play with real money yet. That's the first time in my life I've gotten 4 of a kind though. The point of me posting the money was to prove that I'm actually making money, not losing it.
