This man is unreal. He and Rice made me the 9ers fan I am. And to think that his career was shortened, from both ends, it's truly remarkable what he did. And being cleaner than Napolean Dynomite is a rare trait in any professional athlete, yet alone a star. He and Rice are both some of the best players of all time, and some of the best people in professional sports.

If only lightfungus and boy will accept the fact that Mexico, err Vick, will never have the character or arm of Young. But they will both have their careers ended by concussions or other scrambling related injuries.

I suppose Vick's little sexual trounce could make you consider that his character is below that of Young's, but then you would be a twat. Are you telling me that a man who didn't get married till his late thirties didn't have these same tirades? If he didn't then I have the utmost respect, but you can't prove it either way. Perhaps Vick will never have the arm of Young, but Young never had the legs Vick has, and since his broken leg, I have not seen Vick take to many bad hits. For that matter, I don't think he has had a concussion. So calling Vick a character with lacking qualities is something you simply can't do, and you can't say his career will end with an injury, it probably will, but you can't. Vick helps run a football team that is of a family and team nature. And nothing has said that he is not a levelheaded leader who deserves as much respect as Young. Oh, and Vick is what, 26? I have respect for Young, sure, he was great and I do believe that. However, I am tired of you comparing everybody to the 49ers of yesteryore, and you should jump into the current NFL, because we very well may be watching history in the making. Certainly in Vick, and in Brady, and probably in Manning. Quitting digging for gold that is long gone, its time for...oil.
(Had to continue my analogy.)

Yeah I remember this post pissing me off a month ago. I didnt respond but Im glad you did. Im really not quite sure we ever said that Vick will have the "charachter" or arm of Young... but apparently we did sometime. Also about the whole "charachter" thing... Steve Young is mormon, yeah thats about all I have to say.
