I would like to believe that all of us don't like EVERYTHING about our candidate we are going to vote for.

Instead of making the same points over and over, I think it may be informative to start a thread about things we hate, or like about our candidate. Maybe a better discussion can come out of it if we do it this way.

For example.

Things I hate about Bush:
I hate the fact that Bush is expanding our government to have more power over all of us (I.E. - Homeland Security)

I also think that WE should be in charge of our retirement, not the government. Which is something else Bush isn't really for.

Things I like about Bush:
He is for a national sales tax if it were proposed to him. I was unaware of this until recently, but I think thats GREAT he would consider signing this.

Things I hate about Kerry:
He always seems to have his facts wrong.

He is very indecisive.

Most of the things he says seem like Rhetoric. I might like some of the things he says he would do, however, his track record has proven him to never vote for any of the things he speaks of in his 20 years in office.

Anyway, if everyone does the same thing in this format, I think it will prove to be a more informative discussion.

Things I hate about Bush
1. He threw us into a war for fictious reasons
2. He is anti-separation of church and state
3. He is anti-abortion
4. He is anti-gay rights
5. Basically he is for a Big Brother type government that allows for governmental intervention on things I believe I should be allowed to control myself.

Things I like about Bush
1. He is pro-military
2. Humorous to watch him pronouce large words
3. He takes a hard line against other countries trying to tell the US how to handle our own affairs.
4. You always know where he stands, he may not be right, but he stands firm. I admire that.

I will post my Kerry list when I have more time.
