D/led this today, nice to see all of my system specs. Real specific. I had the same kind of program on my old cpu. What do you guys use?

OK, here are my results. Bring it on FONZ!
Everest Ultimate Edition v2.50.480 (just downloaded it from their site)
Download the NON-Installer version. That way you just have to run an EXE.
:) And thats with azureus and IE running, I don't know if that makes a difference. This 830 and my mobo and chipset fucking owns. But Those damn amd athlon64s toasted me. BTW Gracias, you are the man. Can you find me a good keygen for battlefield vietnam? I looked on astalavista and was only able to find one that didn't work for multiplayer. And from the looks of it mine is faster than those P4s with HT technology, is that because of the L2 cache and the fact that they have 4 cores?
Uhh, start -> control panel -> system?
Congratulations, you just won the smartass of the year award + rep!
Crumbles what do your temperature readings at? Mine are 36, 39, and 53, I think the first 2 are my cpu temps. Im trying to decide if I should overclock my processor. It said they are easily to overclock and with the 6 fans included I'm prettys sure my stock cooling would be sufficient. I want to push it to the 3.2-3.4 range. Its possible to overclock it to like 3.7 but additional cooling measures would be necessary.
Any opinions on this guys?

Well my shits a lil hotter. Is that normal for my cpu and do you think its safe to overclock it a lil to 3.2 or 3.4?

Probably for a while, but eventually it's going to wear into whatever piece of hardware you're overclocking. It's spect out to run at a certain speed, so you're risking having to buy a new whatever it is you're overclocking.
The real question is, do you think you will notice a difference in your PC performance making your 3Ghz CPU run at 3.2? No.
Not too mention, when Intel runs their CPU stress tests, it's done at the set clock speed for that chip. When you overclock it, your CPU is going to be running faster than it's supposed to. Sort of like when you're running down a hill, and your legs can't keep up. You might make it sometimes, but what will eventually happen? Bluescreen! (and some skinned up knees in the form of your hardware being fucked!)
Why do you want to overclock so bad? I say if you want something faster, just buy it. Do you put 120 octane gas in your Honda Accord?

I dunno the only reason I want to is because intel said the chip is "easily overclockable"l. And at the moment I don't drive. But i do own a Toyota camry and no I dont put anything above 89 in it :) Im not gonna do it I was just wondering how safe it actually would be.

Yeah I don't know a lot about it either. I do know that its possible up to 3.7- but 3.7 would fry with stock cooling. I dont want to fry this board and processor thats for sure, cause if i do like the honda accord and the car I don't drive i'd be forced to take the shoe leather express- in other words only use the comp. at work LOL.
So is anybody else gonna grab everest and post their benchmarks? COme on guys!
